Screen tone preparation

First, select where you want to paste the screentone with the Lasso or the Magic Wand tool.

Color the Screen tone

Create a new layer and color the selected area with the bucket tool in advance.

Try to paint a dark color.

If you're drawing Manga and need screentone, make sure there's a new layer below the line art layer where you want to paste the screentone.
